2010 Seasonal Influenza
In 2010 the seasonal influenza vaccine will include the pandemic A(H1H1) 2009 influenza strain.
While you may think it is better to wait, Australian medical experts and the Australian government are recommending vaccination against Pandemic H1N1 now.
Influenza is spread through coughing and sneezing. Research shows that the flu vaccine reduces the risk of illness in healthy people by 70-90 per cent. This converts to a 43 percent reduction in absenteeism, or 74 fewer lost days per 100 employees.
